Sudden Night Shift Deactivation = Agony

Night Shift is great. I don’t notice it coming on because the transition is subtle. My eyes don’t burn at the end of the night anymore.

The only issue is that when you put your iPhone in low power mode, it turns off Night Shift immediately. My eyes feel like someone suddenly dumped battery acid on them every time it happens.

Do any of you experience the same? Or is it just me?

It would be really great if there was a bit more gradual change. I get that it’s using battery, even if it was a 15 second phase out, my eyes would sing hallelujah.
